In 2003, the "Transformers" name was abruptly dropped from the Go-Bots brand. For the first year, the newly-revamped line consisted mostly of older molds repainted, with just a handful of new molds mixed in. The line continued to be successful, and it continued in 2004 with many more new molds, remolds, recolors, and the return of the "Transformers" name brand. 2004 also saw the introduction of the first official Go-Bots villain, the unruly Preditron!
